Deputy Managing Director of IMF Mr.Kenji Okamura visited Colombo Dockyard PLC on 1st of June 2023 with several other officials of IMF.
Representing Embassy of Japan, acting ambassador Mr.Kotaro Katsuki and First Secretary Mr. Murakami Takashi, State minister Shehan Semasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Aviation, SLPA Chairman, officials from finance ministry and central bank also joined this visit.
The team had a visit on board of the CS Sophie Germain, the cable laying and repair vessel which is undergoing her final dressing up before being delivered to the Orange Marine, France soon.
