C.J.P. Siriwardana

Mr. C.J.P. Siriwardana has been appointed as a Director of the company WEF 10th November 2016.

Mr. C.J.P. Siriwardana is an Assistant Governor of the Central Bank since 2010.  He has served as an Assistant Governor in charge of both Price Stability Cluster and Financial System Stability Cluster of the Central Bank and currently is an Assistant Governor in charge of Risk Management, Legal, Policy Review and Monitoring, IT and EPF Departments.

Mr. C.J.P. Siriwardana was the former Superintendent of Public Debt and has served the Central Bank for period of 31 years.  He has experience in the areas of Economic Research, Supervision of Banks and Non Bank Financial Institutions, Public Debt and Risk Management.  He has received his Masters Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Quantitative Development Economics from the University of Warwick, U.K. and holds a B.Sc. Degree with honours specializing in Agriculture form the University of Ruhuna.

Mr. Siriwardana has also authored many articles in reputed international and local journals in the fields of Public Finance, Debt Management and Capital Market Development.
