Colombo Dockyard delivers Platform / ROV Support Vessel ‘Greatship Rashi’ – March 2011

Colombo Dockyard recently delivered another platform / ROV Support Vessel ‘Greatship Rashi’ to Greatship (India) Limited (GIL), a subsidiary of The Great eastern Shipping Company Limited.

This is the fourth in the series and she will join her sister vessel, ‘Greatship Rohini’ which was delivered in February, 2011.

Greatship Rashi is a state of the art, 78 meter Platform / ROV Support Vessel and is the 218th new ship that Colombo Dockyard has built and the 12th large and highly complex vessel delivered, since Colombo Dockyard internationalized its ship building activities in 2006.
